Privacy Policy

This service collects the following information.

• Quiz answers (does not include your name, email address, or other identifying information)
• Your rating of the recommendation (helpful / not helpful) and an optional free-text note
• Cookie consent status
• Operator account email address (for admin login)

Please do not include personally identifying information such as your name or contact details in the free-text note.

This service uses identifiers to measure clicks on affiliate links and to collect ratings of recommendations. When it does, it does not store the raw IP address. It stores only a hashed value.

The hashed identifier is used only for measurement, never to identify an individual.

Your rating and free-text note are used to improve the accuracy of recommendations.

The hashed identifier is retained for 90 days from collection, after which it is deleted.

Deletion of the hashed identifier is performed by a job that runs once a day, and the actual timing may be delayed by up to a day depending on when the job runs.

Quiz response data has no deletion mechanism at this time and is retained without a defined time limit.

This service uses cookies. You can change your settings for non-essential cookies at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

This service may use third-party advertising providers such as Google AdSense. When it does, these providers may use cookies to display interest-based advertisements, and you can opt out of these cookies from "Advertising cookies" in the consent dialog under "Cookie settings" in the footer.
